Featured project / Public service & district operations
One home forA connected public website and private administrative workspace for fire, ambulance, and combined protection districts. Keep residents informed while staff manage records, relationships, responsibilities, and operations.

Project summary
The Emergency Protection Districts platform gives each fire, ambulance, or combined district its own branded website, domain, content, files, calendar, and administrative workspace. Staff can make routine updates, publish public information, and manage internal work through tools designed for their responsibilities.
Behind the website, a private Contacts CRM connects residents, households, organizations, and follow-ups. Records, meetings, communications, compliance obligations, stations, apparatus, and incidents share the same district context. Macke's Software manages the platform infrastructure and protected configuration.

Keep the district website current without calling a developer for routine updates.
Build public pages visually while maintaining a consistent district brand.
Maintain the public information residents routinely look for.
Coordinate district meetings and events from one structured workspace.
Publish timely information and connect residents to the complete story.
Organize public files for residents while giving staff practical records-management tools.
Collect signed district documents without purchasing a separate basic e-sign workflow.
Create public intake tools that belong to the district—not a disconnected third-party form account.
Own the district’s audience and send branded updates from its verified domain.
Show residents where the district serves using the best available boundary information.
Give staff tools to publish carefully and recover when content needs to change.
Give each district employee the access needed for their role—and no more.
Build a private, district-wide view of residents, households, organizations and the relationships between them.
Organize community relationships, assign next steps and keep the directory accurate.
Connect signup information and communication preferences without treating every contact as a subscriber.
Keep responsibilities, deadlines, linked records and completion history together.
Maintain district facilities and operational records alongside the public website.
Tools follow district and role permissions. Accessibility checks help identify common publishing barriers; they do not certify ADA compliance or full WCAG conformance.
More ways to keep work connected
Meeting recording and communication tools extend the core administrative workspace.
Staff review the draft and separately control publication. Generating minutes does not automatically publish or approve them.
Physical mailing tools prepare and manage recipient lists; postal dispatch remains a separate step.
Managed platform
Each district has its own public identity and workspace, supported by a common platform.
Each district receives its own site, content, domain configuration and administrative workspace on a shared managed platform.
Macke’s Software manages site-domain assignment and district-specific global configuration.
Platform administrators can switch site workspaces, review global settings, manage imported boundaries and support district staff.
Sensitive email credentials, storage operations and privileged configuration remain on the separately deployed backend.
One Amazon SES platform account supports separately verified district domains without sharing public sender identities.
Public pages, dialogs, forms, email preferences and document workflows are designed for desktop and mobile use.
Drafts, archives, versions, backups and recoverable workflows reduce the risk of accidental content loss.
Companion mobile app
A React Native companion app for iOS and Android connects to the same district platform, with public discovery and authorized member tools.
